Invisalign® uses custom-made, clear aligners to straighten teeth discreetly. These aligners are virtually invisible and can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing.
The process starts with an initial consultation and digital 3D scan. You'll receive a customised treatment plan and a series of aligners to wear, changing them every 1-2 weeks as your teeth gradually shift into their ideal position.
Treatment times vary based on individual cases but typically last between 6 to 18 months. Your dentist will provide an estimated timeline during your consultation.
You may experience mild discomfort or pressure when switching to a new set of aligners, but this typically subsides within a few days.
To achieve the best results, it’s recommended to wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
Rinse your aligners under lukewarm water and gently brush them with a soft toothbrush. Avoid hot water as it can warp the plastic.
